Works on late model vehicles having Saginaw steering gear assemblies. Much better and safer than the hammer and chisel method.
This tool crimps the tie rod housing to the flats on the rack to keep it from coming loose. Job can be done while the steering gear is still in the vehicle and there is no excessive force on the rack seals.
