Pops half shafts loose from the engine. Insert fork between transaxle case and half shaft then strike end of fork to release the half shaft.
A shim is included in the kit to fill larger gaps found on some vehicles. Applies even pressure on both sides of shaft. Safer and easier than using a pry bar.
