Stainless steel tools resist rust. They do not need to be chrome plated. Chrome plated CR-V tools may look good, but chrome plating is an ecologically damaging and an environmentally devastating process. Tough, long lasting tools begin with the best steel - our stainless steel is made by Carpenter Technology Company in United States. They are one of the best in the world. Our tools are then forged in a special forge, giving our product the dimensional accuracy and material integrity. They are then hardened in a Vacuum Heat Treatment machine under extremely precise time and temperature control. This is the very same machine Aerospace parts (airplane, jet engine, helicopter, tooling, etc) are processed in. Moreover, Vacuum Heat Treat machines are also energy efficient and environmentally friendly.

Our sockets can be safely used on Titanium fasteners in aerospace applications - due to Cadmium being used as the base coat for all chrome-plated tooling, standard chrome vanadium tooling is not compatible with titanium - it causes embrittlement of titanium leading to eventual possible failure.

Autoclave compatible

Our stainless steel tools can be repeatedly sterilized using an autoclave, set at 120C, with a 20 minute cycle. Which means they are safe to use in medical, laboratory, food and other sensitive environments.

Quality Standards

We design to achieve and exceed ANSI, ISO and AS954 (Aerospace Standard).

• Our tools are laboratory tested to AS954 (most stringent Standard), using the best test equipment available.

• We test the tool in use, gradually increasing the load applied until it fails. We call this ‚Äòtorque to failure‚Äô and it is defined by ANSI, ISO and AS954.

• We test the tool being used under 70% of full Standard Load, 2,000 times, cycling 25 times each minute. We call this ‚ÄòLife or Durability‚Äô. This is defined by AS954.
